Keston multi-boiler rig helps Meadowcroft Properties

Keston designed a multi-boiler rig for Highlands Road, a luxury Meadowcroft Properties development in Reigate. The rig consists of two C40s, a qSpa 300 and an Airgen, Keston’s air source heat pump (ASHP), delivering heating for hot water and the building’s complex underfloor heating system.

Meadowcroft is a specialist developer of prestigious homes in prime locations throughout the Surrey area. The choice of Keston is in keeping with Meadowcroft’s focus on contemporary styling, coupled with highest quality fittings and finishes and adoption of the latest technology wherever possible.

The 7,000 sq ft (650 sq m) Highlands Road development is an eight-bedroom property, traditionally built and boasting concrete floors up to and including the second floor, giving it a high thermal mass. This, combined with weather compensation and the type of temperature control possible with all Keston boilers, makes for an extremely energy efficient building.

The boilers work in conjunction with an Airgen, which is located on the outside of the property, to provide the most efficient heating solution. ASHPs are most efficient at temperatures above freezing - when the efficiency drops, the C40s take over. Boilers also provide more rapid water heating, so have been selected to perform this function.
