KESTON INSTALLS SPECIAL RIG AT BURLEIGH COURT NURSING HOME

Keston Boilers Ltd supplied a high efficiency boiler rig for Burleigh Court Nursing Home, completed under a sheltered scheme.  The four-boiler rig, comprising of three Keston C90s and one C110 unit, replaced the existing boilers, which had been in service for 20 years.

The project objective was to create more space in the plant room and upgrade the boiler system.  The requirements were for an advanced engineered and compact, wall-mounted rig plant to be created.  George Avery of Southend BC, who specified Keston for its HE condensing units, wanted a rig which was compliant with Part L and fulfilled health and safety regulations.  Taking into account these factors, the consultant specified a system for Burleigh Court with the exact heating capacity required to satisfy the building’s output needs.

George said, “I am delighted with the installation and indeed Keston’s boilers themselves.”  He felt the rig suited the site’s requirements perfectly and was aesthetically pleasing.  He has already worked with Keston on a number of projects, and is a loyal and trusting customer.
