KESTON ROCKS AGAIN

Keston Boilers rocks once again, installing two of their domestic boilers into the home of famous rock musician Mick Jagger situated in the glamorous Richmond Hill area of London.  

Key to the installation was the required underfloor heating and rapid hot water response for which Keston specified a C55 and a C25 boiler.  There were two challenges to this installation. Firstly, the boilers were required to supply high-level output to meet the heavy demands that would be placed on them but within the confines of a limited fitting space.  Secondly, and perhaps the main challenge Keston had to overcome, was the siting of the flue. 

Trevor Fenterman of Ledger Heating, who chose Keston Boilers for the site, commented: “Keston was specified for this installation due to its excellent reputation, ease of use and for its innovative flue technology.  The C55 is very high efficiency, and being ultra compact and completely room sealed it can be sited practically anywhere. It also has the advantage of featuring a small diameter plastic flue.  This can be extended up to 45 metres horizontally or vertically, an essential feature for this application. Flueing is always a problem and Keston excels in making this easy.”
