KESTON MD IN LAS VEGAS MARATHON!

Nick Stevenson, managing director of Keston Boilers, has crossed the line at this year’s Las Vegas Marathon in support of the charity Chase, a hospice that helps families with life-limited children.

Sponsored exclusively by HVP magazine, Nick completed the 26.2 mile race on December 2, 2007, on a course which starts and finishes at Mandalay Bay Resort at the south end of the world famous Strip. Nick has raised more than £1,500 so far in sponsorship – not bad for a man who said “never again” after completing his last marathon in Chicago two years ago.

Commenting on the race, Nick said: “This is my fourth marathon to date and although I’d trained extremely hard for the event, nothing prepares you for the last few miles. I’m so pleased with the support I have received from friends, family and HVP magazine. It’s all in aid of a very worthy cause and will go some way to improving the lives of young people and their families who care for them.”
