Tommy Walsh, Groundforce Guru Installs a Keston

When Tommy Walsh of Groundforce fame decided to refurbish his four-floored house in Hackney, he wanted the heating system to be an efficient beast. Spread over four floors with four very large bedrooms and under-floor heating throughout the ground floor, a powerful yet efficient boiler was needed to provide for the heating.

The Keston C55 was the condensing boiler recommended to Tommy by a friend working in the builder’s merchant trade. Aimed at the light commercial and large domestic market, the C55 is designed for installations just like this. Measuring just 720mm high x 520mm wide x 320mm deep, the compact, high-performance boiler delivers an output that ranges from 11kW to 55kW. It is SEDBUK A rated and capable of achieving up to 98 per cent efficiency, leading to significant fuel cost savings of up to 30 per cent for homeowners.

As the boilers are completely room sealed, they can be sited almost anywhere, removing the headache for installers working on projects where space is limited. All boiler components can be accessed from the front, so installation and future servicing are quick and simple.
