KESTON COMBIS PERFECT FOR NEW HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

Keston Boilers Limited is delighted to announce the scheduled installation of its C36 Combi boilers into a new housing development at the Nicholas King site in Guildford. This project further reinforces the success of the range since its introduction to market in March.

The first of the wall-mounted gas boilers will be operational in September, with the entire job due for completion before Christmas. The boilers are to be installed into both flats and houses. They are being fitted to Keston’s specifications, including the system design and pipe-sizing. Some of the flues are already in and the boilers will follow shortly.

Steve Day, project contractor from D.P. Plumbing and Heating, said: “The distinctive Keston flue system made the choice of supplier obvious. Keston’s innovative flue can be extended up to 20 metres, horizontally or vertically, essential for the Nicholas King application. The boilers are well-designed, highly engineered, light and compact.

“The boilers’ two-core cabling will make the installation very straightforward,” he added.

Keston created the C36 Combi in response to installers’ requests for units exceeding the standard requirements and changes to the 2005 Part L Building Regulations. The unit is a 36kW high performance, modulating condensing boiler ideal for domestic applications. The flow rate is: 14.5L/min (at 35ºC rise) and 17.0L/min specific flow rate (at 30ºC rise). It offers advanced and uncomplicated extras such as weather compensation and room control sensor. This ensures the unit’s consistent running at optimum efficiency and desired user-comfort levels.
