new domestic boiler from keston gives
installers greater siting flexibility
Keston Boilers Ltd has launched its new
30c combination boiler with a pioneering, low-cost, solvent-weld
PVC-C pipe flue system, bringing to the domestic market
the flue siting flexibility only previously available
in the light commercial sector.
As the technology of the 30c enables it
to operate with low flue temperatures, the boiler can
be installed with a standard 50mm PVC-C waste pipe that
can be extended vertically or horizontally from the boiler,
allowing installers to position the boiler almost anywhere
in the home.
The boiler also comes with a full three-year
parts and labour warranty, offering end users complete
peace of mind.
The high-performance 30c provides impressive
heating output – from 4.8kW to 30kW – and
has a SEDBUK A-rating and energy efficiency of 91%. Suitable
for most family homes and flats, the boiler fits neatly
inside a standard kitchen cupboard without the need for
ventilation.
To help reduce energy wastage the 30c comes
with weather compensation as standard. This reduces the
temperature of the water circulating in the system as
outside temperatures rise; similarly, if temperatures
fall, the boiler will respond and increase the flow temperature.
“The concept for the Keston 30C was
to produce a highly flexible and reliable, top of the
range combination boiler at a remarkable price. The flexibility
comes from the flue system, which is simply 50mm solvent
weld PVC-C pipe and fittings (Marley, Polypipe).
“At less than £4 per metre
it is the lowest cost flue on the market and, with a capability
up to 21 metres, this flue will go anywhere, and we pack
a through the wall flue in the box free of charge,” said
John Forster, Keston’s sales and marketing director.
The 30c is available at Plumb Center branches
throughout the UK. |
