‘On the grid’ PV systems

With ‘on the grid’ installations, the electricity produced during the day is used by the property with the excess being sold back to utility providers. At night, electricity is supplied via the normal utility grid system.

‘Off the grid’ PV systems

‘Off the grid’ solar PV systems are used where connection to theelectricity is not possible or proves to be too costly. In this case, sizing the installation on ‘off the grid’ solar PV systems is critical to ensure power supply is available when required.
