Keston's commitment to excellence and engineering is demonstrated through its popular training programme. The company offers installers and service engineers the opportunity to attend a one-day course at its Bromley premises, absolutely free, subject to availability.

The course, presented by a highly experienced engineer, focuses on product installation and maintenance. The training room is set in a purpose-built facility with fully operational appliances, allowing for a hands-on and practical approach.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY FOR DOMESTIC HEATING

Central heating installers are required to have the “Energy Efficiency for Domestic Heating” certificate in order that they can self certify their installations under the Building Regulations Part L1 (amended 2005). It will be a membership requirement of CORGI that all installers possess the certificate by the end of March 2006.

Therefore installers who have not passed the examination by the end of March 2006 will not be able to operate. Keston boilers have teamed up with Logic Certification to offer a one-day course and examination combined. The course covers all aspects of Energy Efficiency and is a must for all installers. The course is fully approved by the required regulatory bodies, including Energy Savings Trust, CORGI, Energy Efficiency Partnership for Homes, and Heating & Hot Water Information Council. It fully meets the requirements for Building Regulations Part L1.
